Mission School graduates 36
For 12 years each summer, students have come from all across America to attend The American Mission Team Ministry-Missions School. This year, students came from Pennsylvania, Arizona, Tennessee, Missouri, Arkansas, California, Minnesota, and Illinois. There were two students that attended from Kenya and Zambia. Teacher's for this years sessions came from Virginia, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Illinois, and California.
From July 18 through July 30, the students attens classes for about 10 hours daily, for two weeks. At the end of the two weeks, a graduation was held where students receive their certificats, and some were honored with receiving their degree. This year, there were 36 students in attendance.
The students were housed in dorm rooms and private homes in Norris City and Carmi. The office staff prepared the three meals that were provided each day. This year, over 1450 meals were prepared. The Amreican Mission Team Ministry School is located at 112 East Main St. in Norris City. Plans are being made for the next Ministry-Mission School that will be held July 23 through August 4 2012.
